OUR MISSION

Vision: To attract, cultivate and serve a community of people who champion the lifelong sport of sailing on the treasured waters of Lake Okoboji.

Mission: To encourage the sport of recreational sailing and sailboat racing on the waters of Lake Okoboji by:

• Organizing local sailboat races and hosting regattas.
• Working with the OYCSS to develop young sailors.
• Recruiting, training and mentoring new adult sailors.
• Developing, training and supporting Race Committees.
• Hosting social events for sailors, their families & friends.
• Maintaining a best-in-class yacht club facility.
• Encouraging volunteerism in Club events.
• Building on the Club's tradition of inter-generational sailing and respect for Lake Okoboji as a natural resource.
